This belongs in the Ranger section of the Campfire.
Anyway, as far as Prophecies elites go I'd look at Barrage and Incendiary Arrows.

For Prophecies only, I'd go with:
Marksmanship [skill]Barrage[/skill]
Wilderness Survival [skill]Incendiary Arrows[/skill]

Punishing is pretty useless... but from prof elites i suppose its not that bad...
Basically ur options involve barrage and incendiary. Prof doesnt have that many good elites for ranger.

Could always go Poison Arrow/Kindle, but that's a poor sub for IA or BA/Apply. The problem is, your regular skills, like D-shot and Savage Shot, are as good as, or, as in the case of D-shot, better than most of the Prophecies elites.

Melandrus deprives you of a stance, which means no LR or WD. I wouldnt bother with it for regen. If ur in an area with lots of conditions bring antidote signet (im pretty sure thats prof), itll remove up to 4 conditions, or an area with hexes go /mo and help ur monks with remove hex. Resilience is only worth it for some farm builds.

Melandru's Resilience is for energy management (at least) as much as condition handling, and nothing forbids you to bring WD alongside it. Btw, it's funny how people don't know how to handle critters that use MR

As a ranger you shouldnt need more energy management... expertise is more then enough, and theres better elites for energy management. Better then relying on ur enemies to cond/hex you for it.

My opinion too. If you get Eye of the North, combine these with Poison Tip Signet to spread the love.

Not sure about IA, but Poison Tip Signet only affects the first arrow that hits in a Barrage/Volley.

But is IA still useful even though it has a 5 sec recharge?
Also if i combine it with ignite arrows, does the IA hit only two monsters or the whole group?

IA with Ignite does as expected, every arrow ignites and does it's damage to the hit foe and adjacent foes.
